KL 07 – Run Around 7 Malls & Markets in ONE Day
26 May 2007That’s what’s great’s about’s this’s city’s, KL’s! You can actually do that, do like a lot of shopping places in ONE DAY! (I did SEVEN) And all on Public Transport (No taxis, mind u) and some serious pavement pounding! What a rush, in all senses of the word!

1. Sungai Wang: Cool shopping mall right smack in the middle of the city. This is just outside the place, and there behind is the KL Tower. The tower actually stands HIGHER than the Petronas Twin Towers, coz, umm, it cheated (Built on a hill). I like Sungai Wang coz so cool mah! Can get anything there, for cool prices!
Things Bought: 2 Jeans, 1 Cargo Pants, 1 T-Shirt, 1 Karuga Alhaa Ethi.
2. Low Yat Plaza, is nearby, the Computer haven. I went there and…
Things Bought: 1 External Hard Drive 160GB, 1 USB Hub, 1 Headphones, 1 Bluetooth Dongle, 1 DVD Bundle

3. Berjaya Times Square: Big big big big big big MALL! Nothing much inside except IMAX Theatre (is that what it’s called?) and amoosmant park, therefore…
Things Bought: Zilch

Walk walk walk, by this place which is an old jail place or something. Cud’t stop to gaze, must rush rush!

Take LRT (monorail) or LineaR Tech as I like to call them, cross over bridges with cars bristling underneath…to end up in;

4. Sogo: Another excellent nice mall, though bit pricey.
Things Bought: Barbie Clothes Set (for my niece) and Spiderman 3 Farugaalu foshi and related items (for my nephew)

5. Masjed Jamek: The India Town of KL, has been vastly revamped since I last visited, and looks very pro! Not so markety, more shoppingy!
Things Bought: TWENTY Burugaas for my dear Maama, (Maamsee) Explicit Warning from Maamsee: No Orange Please!

More walking! Pass by Masjed Jamek Mosque! It rests on top (ok exaggeration) of water..right in the middle of a river thing.

6. Central Market: The traditional, cultural market. All batiks and handicraft and practical arts stuff! I went there to get some second hand books, but the damned place had undergone refurbishing and now all books are not so second hand cheap! AAARGH! And thus…
Things Bought: Na-da!

More walking…on the colourful and exciting and busy streets! I would now like to kurahaa your attention to the yellowish building at the back…(snicker)…(sorry)…(chuckle)…(apologies)…(MUAHAHAH)…..(mortified).

7. Petaling Street: My final stop! The China Town of KL. The entire squished street is lined and double lined and hemmed in with stalls and stalls, all selling delightfully cheap and FAKE “original items, Boss! See for yourself one!”
Things Bought: 1 Jeans, 1 Adidas sneaker (snicker), 1 Puma snicker (sneaker!?!?!), 4 Black Ganjufaraas (1 with Superman Logo, 1 Thundercats, 1 DECEPTICONS and 1 Che Guevara (?))

Thank you Sayang so much for accompanying me one! I so much the appreciate one! Haiyerrrr why you cannot walk more one? Feet macam sotong gila eezeet? Boleh Meh? Boleh LAH! MISS U!
